At Fratelli Orsini, we prioritize fast and efficient shipping. Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST (Monday to Friday) are shipped the same day. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends and holidays, will be processed the next business day.

Sometimes (especially during the holiday season) your order might be slightly delayed, because the courier is overwhelmed with packages.

The main advantage of our leather and suede gloves over, for example, wool gloves is that all leather gloves from Fratelli Orsini are completely wind and water resistant. To make your leather gloves even more resistant to rainy and cold weather, we recommend impregnating them with our leather gel (unfortunately not suitable for suede or fabric gloves). The leather gel is included for free with every pair of gloves. 

When do I use the leather gel?

You can use the leather gel as soon as you receive it, but you can also use the leather gel after the winter season. 

- To make your gloves extra water repellent you can use the leather gel as soon as you receive it from us. When you cycle through a heavy rain shower, your gloves will be extra water repellent by using the leather gel. 

- You can also use the leather gel at the end of the winter season to give the leather of the gloves extra nourishment and make them shine again.

How do I apply the leather gel?

You apply the leather gel with a cloth, making circular movements on the leather. Let the leather gloves dry thoroughly afterwards. Once the leather gel is well absorbed into the leather, you will notice that the leather feels supple again, has its original shine back and is even more water resistant. By properly impregnating your leather gloves, you ensure that your hands stay nice and dry again during the cold weather.

Unfortunately, the leather gel cannot be used on suede or fabric gloves. You have to see the leather gel as a kind of shoe polish. If you use this gel on suede gloves, it will cause stains that you will not be able to remove. The gel can also cause stains on fabric gloves.

If you want to protect your suede gloves from the winter weather (which we get!) we recommend you to get a water and dirt repellent impregnation spray (available at most shoe stores).

At the moment we do not sell our leather gel separately, but for next season we have plans to do so. We will keep you informed! 

Leather is a natural product and it is very common that your gloves, especially in the beginning, will feel stiff or rigid. By wearing your gloves, the leather will become more supple and the glove will mold itself to your hand - that's the beauty of leather.

If you have been caught out in the rain and your gloves are soaking wet, please don't put them on the heater, as this makes the leather very stiff and hard. Let them dry in a sheltered place and if the leather has become stiff, it certainly helps if you rub your gloves again with leather gel.

Please keep in mind that leather is a natural product and every piece of skin, and therefore every leather glove, is different. Since leather is a natural product (animal skin) all gloves have small imperfections. We do not see this as a defect, but as a characteristic that makes every leather glove unique. No glove is the same.

We offer a one (1) year warranty on all of our gloves. This warranty starts from the moment you receive your gloves. 

The warranty does not apply on general wear and tear that may occur if you wear your gloves regularly.
